Within our newest course, students ages 10-17 explore aspects of Visual Art through the disciplined techniques and refined skills that define Fine Craft. A variety of projects is selected to expand student knowledge and build their skills. Students are introduced to the appropriate tools and materials and their use in projects including: Mosaic, Clay, Cardboard Constructions, Wood Assemblage, Felting, Beading, Batik, and more. Small class sizes ensure personal attention from the Teacher and focus on supporting individual skill and knowledge building. Each session throughout the academic year has a different theme, so students will have fresh experiences and build upon their skills each time they enroll. Student works will be selected and on display for Studio Exhibitions throughout the academic year.
