Multimedia & Clay Play FriDay

It’s time to play with clay! Students Learn, Create, and Celebrate Clay Art in various decorative, functional, and sculptural forms. They will definitely get their hands dirty, as all of the work is done by hand building using Slab and Coil techniques, not on a wheel.


In between these projects, students will work on developing skills and learning techniques in Multimedia Art.


Small class sizes ensure personal attention from the Art Teacher and focus on supporting individual skill and knowledge building.


Each session throughout the academic year has a different theme, so students will have fresh experiences and build upon their skills each time they enroll.


Student Artworks will remain at the Studio until they are fully dry and and can be fired in our kiln. Future classes will include opportunities to learn glazing and finishing techniques, if desired. Completed pieces will be selected for exhibition throughout the academic year.

Did you miss the beginning of the session but still want to enroll? Want to do a trial class to see if it is a good fit for your student?  Opportunities are available – please contact for details.

Attendance policy: Due to the nature and continuous presentation and refinement of new skills and techniques covered in this program, we ask that students do their very best to attend all classes within a session. At the end of the session, there will be a makeup opportunity for anyone who has missed a class for whatever reason within that session. Students who have successfully attended all classes within a session may pay a drop-in fee and attend the makeup class to complete any unfinished pieces. We will no longer be issuing credits or refunds when two or more classes missed due to student schedule conflicts or illness. Students who are aware that they might miss two or more classes should discuss the situation with the Studio prior to registering for the class.
