Open Studio & Equipment Rental

Open Studio spaces and Equipment Rental opportunities are available for experienced artists, crafters, educators, entrepreneurs and others who wish to use our equipment and facilities independently. Especially popular at the Studio are the Pottery Kiln and dedicated work space and specialized tools and materials for Glass Art such as Stained Glass and Mosaics.

Open Studio users may choose to bring their own tools, equipment, and materials into the space; alternatively, some users may appreciate selecting from the variety of specialty Art materials (such as glass, foil, and solder) and purchasing them from the Studio on an ad hoc basis.

We invite potential Open Studio users to visit Monroe Street Studio and speak personally with a staff member and receive a tour of our facility.

Effective September, 2017, all Open Studio users will be asked to read and sign an Open Studio Agreement. All new and returning Open Studio users under the age of 18 will require a parent or other legal guardian to accompany them to Monroe Street Studio to sign the Agreement along with their child prior to their use of any Open Studio space.
