The new Intermediate Learners Program is designed for Art students who have demonstrated skills, focus, and maturity beyond a Beginner level. Those who have participated in our Multimedia Art for Children Program for at least one year may request consideration or be invited for entry into this Program.
Topics such as composition, perspective, and dimension are addressed at a degree much deeper than is presented in Beginner classes. Intermediate Learners are rotated through a variety of specific lessons in content areas such as: Academic Drawing, 3D Drawing, Elements of Design, and Introduction to Color Palette. Other topics may be taught depending on student interest or special request.
Small class sizes ensure personal attention from the Art Teacher and focus on supporting individual skill and knowledge building.
Each session throughout the academic year has a different theme, so students will have fresh experiences and build upon their skills each time they enroll.
Student Artworks will be selected and on display for Studio Exhibitions throughout the academic year.
Enrollment in the Intermediate Learners Program is by invitation/permission of Studio Owner and Art Teacher Yana Farmer. If you are interested in being considered, please contact Art@MonroeStreetStudio.com and be sure to include photographic samples of your current work.
Mondays 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm
